Here are some trusted and highly used platforms for freelancing. 
But your income just depends upon your struggle. As much efficient and hard worker would you be, as much earning would you have.

The most trusted and easy to get start platform for a new freelancer. 
Although competition is tough for new freelancers as there are millions of freelancers with their expertise and experience. 
You just have to create your profile with all the skills mentioned you are experienced in which. As much your profile would be attractive, more chances would you have to win a job. After getting register here, you need to look for your relative job meeting your skills and apply for it. 
As a beginner you would have a limited numbers of jobs to apply for.

Probably the most popular platform among freelancers. But not as much easy to join. You must go through a difficult test to pass with a specific higher percentage to get start here. Once you didn’t succeed to pass your test, you wouldn’t be able to appear in the test again within 1 year. 
So be attentive and super cool to start your test. 

3- www.peopleperhour.com
PPH is a mixture site of Upwork and Fiverr. As it allows us to search for jobs as well as  to post hourlies which are similar to gigs at Fiverr. Many opportunities are here but you need to be active and catch them.

Registration is easy and free here. You can post your gigs here and mostly gigs start from a minimum of 5$.
This platform is only suitable for freelancers who are interested in small projects. But you can post many gigs at a time. If you are looking for big projects then this is not your place.
